Woodwork Skills & Social Enterprise

July 23 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Fancy seeing if you have a talent for making things out of wood? Want
experience of setting up and running a social enterprise? We will help
you decide what you want to make, support you to create your pieces,
including showing you how to use tools and machinery, and will then
help you with the process of setting up a social enterprise and selling
your items (with proceeds coming back into the charity). This is a great
opportunity to develop a new creative talent and add business skills
to your CV. Come along to the first session to find out more and help
develop ideas for what to build.

Please note: This is a six week course and participants must attend week 1 of the
course on Monday 23rd July.
Ages: 14 – 17
Location: Upper Norwood Library hub for first two session and Men in Sheds
Penge for subsequent sessions
