Every Tuesday 11-12:15

This is a structured class for our senior residents who may have used a computer a bit at work or have one at home.

The class is a mixture of tutorials and discussion where we cover subjects like safety, scams, what to buy and keeping in touch.

We try to make things less complicated and keep things fun, informative and useful.

Most recently we have been organising email and formatting documents and managing links but will be covering other areas such as using the internet safety. Mobile phones & tablets and filling in forms.

Computers will be supplied although you are welcome to bring your own.

To discuss if this course is right for you come and have a chat during one of our drop-in sessions (Tues and Fri 12-30-1.30) or call Caspar 07900926100.

We can help with things like

  • Setting up and email account
  • Accessing old accounts
  • Reporting problems on your street or community
  • Booking in services such as waste removal
  • Applying online for blue badges, travel or other benefits
  • Updating devices
  • Using mobile phones
  • Transferring photos
  • Setting up itunes or spotify

Session are open to all the community. First come first served!

This also a perfect time to discuss our other session and see if they right for you. Just can just turn up!

We’re so excited to be bringing Shared Reading to the Upper Norwood Library Hub. Our free Shared Reading groups are places to relax, meet local people and share stories with others every week. Ever wanted to know what the settings on your camera actually did? Or how to take a cool photo you once saw?

Join our new Introduction to Photography workshops that take you through the basics of photography.

Run over three evening sessions, we will cover some of the most challenging conditions in a simple, jargon free and fun way, opening up the creative possibilities of photography so you to get the most out of your camera.

The beginner workshops are open to all and welcome participants with any level of digital camera from point and shoot compacts to DSLR.

If you don’t own a camera – don’t worry! Combining theory with practical activities while providing individual and group support you will have the opportunity to try using a camera during the workshops, learn new skills and meet new people.
