Take care of your wellbeing – learn mindfulness this January at the Upper Norwood Library Hub


Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy is an evidence-based skills training programme combining mindfulness meditation and cognitive psychology. It provides a thorough introduction to practical ways to relate skilfully to the pressures and demands of life, and handling troubling thoughts and feelings with balance and care.


The course is taught by Jim Clark, a UK Network Listed Mindfulness Teacher. He has full accreditation with the BABCP as a Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist and has many years experience teaching mindfulness to clinical and general public groups.


The course takes place on Thursday evenings 6:30-8:30pm. It consists of an orientation session, 8 weekly course sessions, and a full day of practice on 18th March. All guided meditations included. For more information, please go to To contact Jim directly, email
