Heritage Compass Q&A

Are you opening up your heritage organisation again and looking for a little extra support? Or maybe you're looking for an exciting way to refresh your business model?

Well - you might be interested in Heritage Compass! A totally free programme led by Cause4, alongside with partners Creative United and the Arts Marketing Association.

Since early 2021 Heritage Compass has been working with nearly 200 small to medium-sized heritage organisations to develop essential skills in business planning, audience development, leadership and change.

Now in December 2021, thanks to the generous support of the National Lottery Heritage Fund and the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport, Heritage Compass are on the lookout for 100 more heritage organisations to join the next cohort!

Apply now, and receive 12 months of totally free business support. This means training, a national symposium, critical friend support, mentoring and more. It will also, most importantly, give you the chance to work with a whole new network of 300 brilliant heritage organisations across the country.

So, what are you waiting for?

We want to encourage those considering applying to find out more and become familiar with the programme via an online Q&A introducing some of the thinking behind the content.

Join Shirley Lundstram, Head of Programme at Heritage Compass, and the National Lottery Heritage Fund this Thursday 18th November or Thursday 9th December, from Midday-1 o'clock, and discuss the key challenges facing the sector right now, and how Heritage Compass might support organisations to be resilient, and sustainable, for the long-term.
