Energy Outreach Project 2023/24

The Energy Outreach Project (Formerly the Big Energy Saving Network) is a community outreach project targeting vulnerable energy consumers. It aims to help people with their energy bills by encouraging them to take action, including: switching, accessing discount schemes, signing up for the PSR and taking measures to make their homes more energy efficient.

As part of this year’s project, funded by CAB, we are offering a range of FREE services for:

With the rising cost of living at the forefront of residents minds, it's crucial that we are well-equipped to support residents when they express concerns about being able to afford to run their homes. Our webinar with BESN did exactly this, providing our frontline colleagues with energy advice, insight, and resources that can be shared with residents who are feeling the pinch due to the cost of living crisis. The webinar was invaluable and we are so grateful to BESN for helping us to better support residents.’

Holiday Activities Fund

We have been running children’s skill-based holiday camps for the past 4 years achieving outstanding levels of positive feedback from parents and children. We work in partnership with Lambeth and Croydon libraries to enable Council assets to benefit local children.

Our experienced facilitators support children to build creative confidence, learn new skills, make new friends, develop social skills, build a joy of reading, improve literacy skills alongside physical and healthy eating activities to improve physical health.

As part of the project we’ve visited local allotments to find out how food is grown!
