The scheme applies to all our available hire spaces within the library hub. Each space is suitable for different types of activity — we can help you choose the best fit during enquiry or consultation.
Burgundy Room: Our largest space can accommodate up to 100 people.

The scheme offers a structured introductory period:
Months 1–3: 50% of standard hourly hire rate
Months 4–6: 75% of standard hourly hire rate
After 6 months: standard hire rate applies + priority booking where available
This is designed to help you establish your class or event before moving to full pricing.

Yes. A minimum booking period of 3 months is required to join the scheme. We recommend 6 months to fully benefit from the promotional support and pricing structure.

We ask for a minimum 3-month commitment. After that, standard notice periods for cancellation apply (as per our usual hire terms).

The scheme is primarily designed for regular or recurring sessions. However, some one-off workshops may be considered depending on availability and fit.

No. The scheme is designed to support both new and established instructors. If you are starting from scratch, the marketing support is specifically intended to help you build your audience.

We review applications based on:

We aim to support a diverse range of community activities.

You can book the spaces in advance monthly, termly or quarterly. We’ll keep you weekly slot booked in our calendar and invoice you monthly.

We invoice monthly, in advance. Invoices are due on the 1st of each month and can be paid by bank transfer.

Yes, the spaces are available to book in the evenings and outside of library opening hours. An additional staffing fee applies.

Burgundy Room - £48 per hour
Teal Room - £21.20 per hour
Studio - £15 per hour
Note these are the full prices. Our scheme starts at 50% off for the first three months.

All out-of-hours staffing is priced at £16.68 per hour.
Bookings made within library opening hours do not require staffing.
