Jane’s story

Jane is an UNLH Supporter, she joined the socially distant audience for the West End Halloween Spook-tacular Concert in October. Thank you for sharing your experience with us:

“Congratulations to all concerned on a brilliantly executed and entertaining evening.

Daniel had so carefully masterminded and taken care of everything that might be expected in these Covid times - from temperature checking us on arrival to taking the small audience a few at a time to and from their socially distanced seats - that we felt utterly safe.

We enjoyed the programme of old favourites (from many musicals and also including a memorable Life on Mars) and new (we particularly enjoyed the number from comperes Calum and David's new musical).

The artists were brilliantly on form as always and seemed to be enjoying having a live audience again as well as coordinating their performances for the green screen livestream.

Special mention should go to the technicians who worked so hard to livestream the show so cleverly - it was an added bonus to be able to see how everyone's skills were being deployed to bring the show to the many watching on several continents.

Such a treat to enjoy an evening of high West End quality live entertainment on our local doorstep especially after the 7 month dearth!
