Life Drawing at the Library - Mondays 7pm

Life drawing at the Upper Norwood Library Hub on Mondays, 7-9.30pm.

This is a relaxed, informal class open to all skill levels, from absolute beginners wanting to try their hands at something new, or experienced artists looking to sharpen their observational skills through life drawing.

With a different model each week, and a variety of pose lengths from quick, dynamic warm-ups to extended poses that allow for deep and close observation, our tutor is there to give you as much (or as little!) guidance as you would like in the life room.

Expect a warm and welcoming group who are keen to chat all things technique and materials. We always end with a run through of the work made on the night (participation optional of course!) to chat through what people enjoyed, found tricky, and what they might want to try at the next session!

Emily who runs the class is currently part of the Drawing Year 2026, an intensive postgraduate course at the Royal Drawing School focussing on the importance of observational drawing.

Booking in advance is essential in order to confirm capacity before each session.

£20 for 2 hours - concessions available.
