The Roald Dahl Children's Camp
Children will have the opportunity to discover and learn about children's author Roald Dahl who wrote kids' classics such as Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Matilda, The BFG, James and the Giant Peach and Fantastic Mr. Fox to name a few! Furthermore, the children will rehearse and perform excerpts from Dahl's stories including a musical number from the hit West End Musical, Matilda.
This week is designed to help build confidence and improve social skills by practicing some of theatre’s most important disciplines whilst exploring some of the most exciting children's literature ever written. The week will also include Roald Dahl themed activities including games, role play and arts & crafts.
This exciting camp will be led by West End professional, Simona Budd. Simona is a freelance Musical Director with credits such as Thoroughly Modern Millie, Cabaret and Guys And Dolls and most recently Heathers The Musical in the West End.
Please note that depending on government legislation during this period, we will still practice the following to ensure the safety of all our staff and children:
Consent forms will need to be completed in advance and parents/guardians will be responsible at all times for ensuring that children to do not attend on the day if they are showing any signs or symptoms or illness. In addition, children will be temperature checked on arrival to ensure the ongoing safety of all children and staff.
Hand washing will be regular and compulsory for all children and staff throughout the days.
We have removed the wraparound option.
Please note, children will need to bring a packed lunch (NO NUTS INCLUDING NUTELLA SNACKS), water bottle and at least 2 snacks as well as suitable clothing for each day.
